Natural Health and Wellness

Personal Reflection

Over the last 8 years of my 20 years in practice, I have been attending post-grad courses and learning about the embodiment of trauma; applying this during my regular clinics.  I have also personally been healing from adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)  so have first-hand knowledge and experience of how it feels when you are ‘stuck’ and the sensations of lightness, joy and life-force once it has been released.

Through therapy and energy healing, I have been able to process, grow, employ kind boundaries, stand in my power and values, quiet the mind and become comfortable to gaze within. I am so thankful for the beautiful souls who have helped me.

Somatics has empowered me to release and retrain the physical, emotional, and energetic responses I have held in my body and nervous system for many years. It sits beautifully with my training in Osteopathy, and my Biodynamic Cranial Training. I have a clearer sense of my purpose and how my past experiences were ‘training’ to be able to respond in the way that I have with resilience, integrity, intuition, love, and connection. I feel incredibly grateful for the synchronicity in the timing of the Somatics work. In 2020, I had the strength and wisdom to trust the innate intelligence and natural immunity of my body and to intuitively know how to stand in my truth, along with many other courageous leaders in the health field. I love sharing knowledge with my patients (health seekers) and to guide them to take responsibility for their own health in a natural and supportive way, by making powerful choices to be the very best versions of themselves.

I am blessed to have experienced stability and unconditional love from my grandparents and every day I am now able to feel gratitude and joy for the time I was able to spend with them and how they have helped to shape my heart-centred practice.
